TBO Tek Q2 profit grows 12.5% as revenue increases 53%
Travel distribution firm TBO Tek reported a consolidated net profit of ₹76 crore for the second quarter of FY27, supported by a 53% surge in revenue despite rising operational costs.

TBO Tek recorded a net profit of ₹76 crore for the quarter ending September 30, marking a 12.5% increase compared to the ₹67.6 crore reported in the same period last year. Operating revenue climbed 52.6% to ₹865.6 crore. However, the company faced sequential headwinds, with revenue declining 6.5% and net profit dropping 8.8% compared to the June quarter.
Operational expenditure grew significantly during the period, rising 54.8% to ₹780.7 crore. The increase was driven largely by service fees, which rose to ₹304.6 crore, and a 76.8% jump in employee benefit expenses, which reached ₹190.7 crore.
The company also disclosed an exceptional expense of ₹8.14 crore stemming from suspected collusion by employees within its overseas subsidiary and the parent firm. TBO Tek has initiated legal proceedings and is currently pursuing an insurance claim to recover losses related to the incident.
Despite the operational challenges and exceptional costs, TBO Tek’s profit before tax reached ₹91.5 crore, up 17% from the previous year. The company continues to monitor the financial impact of the internal collusion investigation as it moves into the second half of the fiscal year.
