TCS HyperVault to Invest ₹70,000 Cr in Hyderabad AI Data Centre

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced that its data centre subsidiary, HyperVault, along with its partners, plans to invest up to ₹70,000 crore (approximately $840 million USD) to build and operate a substantial AI data centre campus in Hyderabad.

The facility, intended for high-density, liquid-cooled compute workloads for frontier AI companies and hyperscalers, is slated to become one of India's largest AI infrastructure sites upon completion. TCS has secured 264 acres of land in Hyderabad for the development.

Execution of the project will proceed in phases, aligning with market demand. The campus is designed with principles of green energy and water neutrality. Once fully developed, it is expected to create several thousand direct and indirect jobs in the region.

This investment signifies TCS' commitment to building AI-ready infrastructure in India. HyperVault was established in October of the previous year to focus on AI-centric data centres. The venture has also attracted investment from global investment firm TPG.
