TCS to provide technology and innovation for New York's New Terminal One at JFK

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has been selected as the technology and innovation partner for the New Terminal One at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) in New York. The agreement positions TCS to strengthen the digital infrastructure of the new international terminal.

The New Terminal One is a significant component of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey's $19 billion airport transformation project. TCS will be responsible for establishing the digital foundation to create a next-generation guest experience, aiming to improve airline cost efficiencies and elevate international travel at JFK.

Under the partnership, TCS will support all technology systems within the terminal. This includes passenger processing systems, AI-driven IT operations, infrastructure management, enterprise application support, and cybersecurity services. The goal is to enhance terminal-wide decision-making for efficient airline operations and a seamless guest journey.

Leveraging solutions like TCS' Cognix™ and ignio™, the partnership will provide end-to-end visibility and proactive management of key components of the passenger experience, from processing and baggage handling to security. "With TCS as our technology partner, we look forward to...delivering a transformational guest experience," said Jennifer Aument, CEO of The New Terminal One. Amit Bajaj, President – North America at TCS, added that AI will facilitate a seamless and reliable passenger experience.
