Teads, a global media platform, announced the integration of carbon emission measurement reporting, powered by Scope3, into its Teads Ad Manager platform. This development allows advertisers and agencies to better understand the carbon emissions associated with their connected TV (CTV) and omnichannel campaigns, comparing them against global benchmarks.
The new functionality enables monitoring of emissions from four sources: media distribution, ad selection, creative distribution, and consumer devices. Teads leverages its direct publisher partnerships to enhance its media inventory. The company stated this reduces ad selection emissions by an average of 35%, based on a November 2023 Scope3 assessment.
