Tech Executives to Meet Trump Tuesday

Meta Platforms CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei are scheduled to attend a luncheon with President Donald Trump on Tuesday, CNBC confirmed. The meeting is part of a larger event hosted by the White House.

Alphabet CEO Sundar Pichai and Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang are also expected to attend, along with OpenAI President Greg Brockman. The event aims to announce a new website for federal information and resources and will include panel discussions on artificial intelligence, energy, and space.

Amodei, who has been vocal about the need for caution in developing advanced AI, had a private dinner with Trump on Sunday. This upcoming meeting provides another forum for tech leaders to engage with the administration on AI safety and potential regulation.

Several prominent tech executives, including Apple's Tim Cook and SpaceX's Elon Musk, attended a state dinner for Chinese President Xi Jinping last week. Trump has previously expressed skepticism about AI concerns, calling them a "hoax" and a "scam."
