TECNO Announces Winners of 2026 Shot On CAMON Photography Contest
Smartphone manufacturer TECNO has selected 16 winners for its annual global mobile photography contest, which drew over 13,000 entries from 40 countries.
TECNO has concluded its third annual Shot On CAMON photography contest, co-hosted with Lonely Planet. The event invited mobile photographers to submit images captured on the company's CAMON smartphone series, resulting in more than 13,000 entries globally.
The top honor, the TECNO Photography Master award, was presented to a Nigerian photographer for the image "Weightless Voyager." Captured in Lagos using a CAMON 50 Pro, the image was recognized for its use of sunset lighting and composition. The total prize pool of $38,000 was distributed among 16 winners across five categories: Faces, Culture, Night, Snapshot, and AI-assisted photography.
By facilitating this contest, the company seeks to promote the capabilities of its mobile imaging technology. Winners received varying cash prizes alongside hardware rewards and travel opportunities, marking the conclusion of the 2026 edition of the competition.
