The IT security association TeleTrusT Deutschland e.V. will present criteria defining 'IT Security made in Germany' at the it-sa trade fair in Nuremberg. The organization aims to clarify what characterizes and distinguishes IT security solutions from German providers.

During a press conference at the event, TeleTrusT will unveil the specific benchmarks for this quality mark, intended to solidify the reputation of German IT security offerings globally.

In addition to the quality mark initiative, TeleTrusT is organizing two expert forums. The first session will focus on the application of biometrics in access control, featuring practical examples and live demonstrations of technologies like 'Match-on-Card' for secure authentication.

The second forum will address IT security within smart grids. Topics will include risk prevention, secure architecture, and the role of managed security services in this critical infrastructure. Presentations will cover threats, regulatory aspects, and solution approaches for smart grid environments.

Established in 1989, TeleTrusT serves as a leading German IT security association, representing over 110 members from industry, research, and public institutions. The organization actively contributes to policy and standards in the field of information security.
