Singapore-based investment firm Temasek plans to open offices in Abu Dhabi and Riyadh in the first half of 2027, marking its first physical presence in the Middle East as it deepens its regional exposure.

Singaporean investment company Temasek has announced plans to establish offices in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, during the first half of 2027. This expansion signifies Temasek's initial physical footprint in the Middle East, underscoring its commitment to the region.
The new offices are intended to serve as strategic hubs for the investment firm and its portfolio companies, some of which are expected to co-locate. Temasek sees broad opportunities across Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar, and plans to increase engagement with regional institutions.
This expansion is also set to provide Temasek with greater access to markets in Central Asia and Africa. CEO Dilhan Pillay highlighted the Middle East's growing importance within Temasek's global network, citing the region's economic transformation and attractive long-term fundamentals.
Upon opening, these new offices will bring Temasek's global network to 15 locations across 11 countries. As of March 31, 2026, the firm's net portfolio value reached S$518 billion (approximately US$405 billion).
