Temu and APDC Launch Partnership to Boost Digital Commerce in Portugal

Global e-commerce platform Temu and the Portuguese Association for the Development of Communications (APDC) have announced a new collaboration focused on strengthening dialogue and knowledge sharing within Portugal's digital commerce sector.

Under a Memorandum of Understanding, Temu will join APDC's network, which includes businesses, institutions, experts, and public sector stakeholders involved in Portugal's digital transformation. This partnership aims to facilitate discussions on the evolving e-commerce landscape and the responsibilities associated with digital marketplaces.

The collaboration will involve Temu participating as an institutional member in APDC's activities and industry discussions. Joint initiatives will focus on supporting Portuguese businesses by providing them with information on online marketplace opportunities, onboarding resources, and access to expert guidance. APDC will also host thought-leadership sessions to discuss e-commerce trends and regulatory developments relevant to local companies.

"We are delighted to welcome Temu to our community and are confident that this partnership will help foster a more collaborative, innovative and transformative digital ecosystem," said Sandra Fazenda Almeida, Executive Director of APDC. A Temu spokesperson stated, "Through our cooperation with APDC, we will engage with local businesses and other stakeholders in Portugal, share our experience and better understand local priorities."
