Temu and Start:up Slovenia partner to expand European reach for Slovenian businesses
E-commerce platform Temu has partnered with Start:up Slovenia to provide Slovenian businesses access to the European market. The collaboration aims to offer tools and a pathway to Temu's extensive customer base.

E-commerce platform Temu has entered into a partnership with Start:up Slovenia, an initiative aimed at helping Slovenian businesses expand their reach across the European Union. The agreement includes joint activities throughout 2026 and 2027, focusing on enabling digital transformation and building capacity for international growth among local entrepreneurs.
Start:up Slovenia, established in 2004, brings extensive experience in fostering the Slovenian startup ecosystem. The organization is a founding member of the European Startup Network and the Startup Europe CEE Network and organizes the PODIM conference, a significant event for the region.
"Slovenian startups continuously develop cutting-edge products. However, for commercial success, reaching customers through effective distribution is more important than ever," said Urban Lapajne, head of the Start:up Slovenia community. This partnership with Temu aims to facilitate that by opening new market pathways.
Temu, which entered the Slovenian market in 2023, opened its marketplace to local sellers in March 2026. The company has also previously collaborated with Pošta Slovenije, the national postal operator, to enhance logistics for Slovenian sellers and consumers.
