Tencent launches mobile game with AI body tracking
Tencent has released Just Dance: Party on mobile, using smartphone cameras for full body motion capture without external accessories.

Tencent today launched Just Dance: Party for mobile platforms including iOS, Android, and HarmonyOS. The game is based on Ubisoft's Just Dance franchise.
The title utilizes a proprietary AI-powered skeletal tracking algorithm developed by Tencent. This enables full-body motion capture using only a smartphone's front-facing camera. The technology removes the need for external accessories like dance mats or motion controllers, simplifying gameplay setup.
Players can also cast their gameplay to a television for a larger-scale home dance experience. The game features signature rhythm gameplay alongside a music library encompassing Mandopop, K-pop, Western hits, and viral online tracks.
All songs are available free of charge and will be updated regularly, according to Tencent.
