Tencent opens WorkBuddy platform to third-party developers

Chinese technology giant Tencent has opened its AI agent, WorkBuddy, to third-party developers, hardware manufacturers, and industry applications.

More than 100 partners, including over 30 software providers, have joined the platform. The move aims to connect workplace applications, smart hardware, and industry-specific services.

WorkBuddy, previously known as an enterprise-focused AI tool, is now expanding into a broader ecosystem. New partners, such as Weimob, GF Securities, Rokid, and iFlytek, are expected to bring new functionalities and integration possibilities to the platform.

This expansion seeks to bolster Tencent's position in the market for AI-driven productivity solutions for businesses.
