Tencent WorkBuddy Adapts for Apple's Foldable iPhone Duo

Tencent WorkBuddy has announced early compatibility with Apple's upcoming foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo. The software update, revealed yesterday, details six distinct ways users can utilize the device's folding screen for enhanced productivity and multitasking.

The integration aims to maximize the potential of the iPhone Duo's unique form factor. According to Tencent, the supported modes include a full screen expansion for a desktop-like experience, single-handed operation on the outer display, and split-screen functionality on the inner display for tasks like AI interaction and report generation. Other features highlighted are drag-and-drop file integration into conversations, a half-folded "hover" mode for recording or viewing content, and a "tent mode" for hands-free operation.

Apple's iPhone Duo, which starts pre-orders at 15,999 yuan (approximately $2,200 USD), features a 7.6-inch foldable main display and a 5.4-inch outer display, both with 120Hz refresh rates. It is powered by the A20 Pro processor, utilizing an advanced VC cooling system for sustained performance. Software optimizations include a vertical app dock and thumb-friendly controls.
