Tencent WorkBuddy Enables WeChat Mini-Program Creation Via Natural Language
Tencent WorkBuddy has launched a new feature allowing users to create and publish WeChat mini-programs by describing their needs in natural language. The update eliminates the need for coding.
Tencent's WorkBuddy tool has introduced a new capability enabling users to build and deploy WeChat mini-programs without writing any code. Users can now describe their desired application functions using natural language, and WorkBuddy will generate the program, complete with integrated cloud services such as databases, login functionalities, and file storage.
The entire process for creating and publishing mini-programs is now streamlined within the WorkBuddy platform. This eliminates the need for users to install separate developer tools or configure AppIDs manually. The tool automatically connects necessary cloud services, including databases, user authentication (supporting both phone number and WeChat login), and file storage.
Post-launch, users can continue to monitor and manage their applications through WorkBuddy. The platform provides access to analytics on application usage and other operational data. WorkBuddy also offers integration with WeChat's developer tools for a true app environment, allowing for previews, device-level debugging, and troubleshooting.
This new mini-program creation feature is available for users who have updated to WorkBuddy version 5.6.1 or later. The development aims to lower the barrier for creating and utilizing digital tools for both businesses and individuals.
