Teollisuuden Voima Oyj reports increased electricity production for Q1-Q3 2026
Teollisuuden Voima Oyj produced 18,113 GWh of electricity during the first nine months of 2026 as operations remained stable across all three Olkiluoto units.
Teollisuuden Voima Oyj (TVO) generated 18,113 GWh of electricity between January and September 2026, marking an increase from the 16,568 GWh recorded during the same period in 2025. The company stated that the Olkiluoto 1, 2, and 3 plant units maintained stable operations throughout the reporting period.
The Olkiluoto 3 unit achieved a continuous production milestone, operating without interruption for its entire 18-month cycle. However, the company continues to manage output constraints; in June 2026, TVO confirmed that the Olkiluoto 2 unit will remain at a reduced power level through the end of 2027.
As a major contributor to Finland's base-load power, TVO's performance remains a critical indicator for the national energy market. The utility continues to operate its fleet of three units to maintain steady grid output.
