Tesla has introduced the refreshed Model Y Performance all-wheel-drive variant in China, with prices starting at RMB 369,000. The update includes performance and feature enhancements.
Tesla has launched the updated Model Y Performance all-wheel-drive version in China, with a starting price of RMB 369,000 (approximately $51,000 USD).
The updated Model Y Performance offers a CLTC range of 659 kilometers (409 miles). It achieves a top speed of 250 kph and accelerates from 0 to 100 kph in 3.5 seconds. The vehicle features a revised front fascia and 21-inch Arachnid 2.0 wheels.
Inside, the Model Y Performance is configured with five seats and includes a premium audio system. It also comes equipped with a HEPA air filter, marketed as Bioweapon Defense Mode, and continuously variable damping for improved ride quality.
China is a significant market for Tesla, and the Model Y has been a strong seller. This refreshed Performance variant aims to maintain competitiveness against other electric vehicle manufacturers in the region.
