Electric vehicle maker Tesla announced on Sunday that it has surpassed 9 million of its vehicles operating on roads worldwide. The update was part of a broader review of the company's development, highlighting its growth in manufacturing and infrastructure.

In terms of production, Tesla operates five Gigafactories across three continents, serving as the hubs for its global manufacturing efforts. Concurrently, the company has developed the world's largest and most reliable fast-charging network, now exceeding 80,000 Supercharger stations.

The company's energy division has also seen substantial progress. Tesla has installed over one million Powerwall home battery systems and its industrial energy storage solutions are deployed in more than 2,200 projects, with a combined capacity exceeding 70 gigawatt-hours.
