A notable feature previously discussed by Elon Musk involves the potential integration of "thruster" technology, derived from SpaceX. These cold-gas thrusters are reportedly intended to be installed around the car to enhance acceleration and cornering capabilities. However, Tesla has not confirmed if this feature will be included in the production model.
Reservations for the Roadster require a $50,000 refundable deposit. After a temporary halt, Tesla has reopened the reservation channel for the new sports car.
