Tezspire demonstrates positive Phase 3 results in eosinophilic esophagitis

Amgen has released positive Phase 3 study results for Tezspire in patients diagnosed with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE). The trial met its co-primary and key secondary endpoints, demonstrating statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvements in both disease activity and symptoms compared to placebo.

The improvements were maintained through week 52 of the study. These findings indicate Tezspire's efficacy in addressing the underlying inflammation and relieving symptoms associated with EoE, a chronic immune-mediated esophageal disease.

Eosinophilic esophagitis can cause significant discomfort, difficulty swallowing, and damage to the esophagus. The study's success suggests Tezspire could offer a new therapeutic option for patients suffering from this condition.

Tezspire is already approved for other inflammatory conditions, and these results further support its broad potential in treating epithelial-driven inflammatory diseases.
