Thai fintech firm Salary Hero raises $7.6 million in Series A funding

Salary Hero, a Thailand-based fintech company focused on employee financial wellness, has secured US$7.6 million in a Series A funding round. The company provides a platform that allows workers to access earned wages before their official payday.

The funding round was led by Cento Ventures, with participation from Malaysia-based Kairous Capital and M Venture Partners. Salary Hero also announced an expansion of its credit facility to US$10 million.

The company confirmed its launch in Malaysia, where it had already begun operations in Q2 2026. The capital raised will be used to fund its expansion in the Malaysian market, including building a local team and establishing partnerships with enterprise clients and distribution networks.

In Thailand, Salary Hero serves over 100 companies, reaching more than 300,000 employees. The company is entering a market with existing competition in the earned wage access space, such as Paywatch.
