The Batman 2 Release Delayed to February 2028
DC's "The Batman 2," starring Robert Pattinson, has had its release date pushed back to February 18, 2028. A first-look trailer has been unveiled.
Warner Bros. Pictures has announced a new release date for the upcoming superhero film "The Batman 2." The movie, reprising Robert Pattinson in the titular role, is now scheduled for theatrical release on February 18, 2028.
The film's premiere was originally slated for October 2027, but has faced multiple postponements. Director Matt Reeves confirmed last year that the script was completed by himself and co-writer Mattson Tomlin.
Reports indicate new cast members will join the production, including Scarlett Johansson and Sebastian Stan. Charles Dance is also reportedly set to play the father of Harvey Dent. Reeves is directing and co-writing the screenplay, with Pattinson returning as Batman.
The first film, "The Batman," released in 2022, achieved a global box office total of $772 million, setting a strong foundation for its sequel.
