The Cheesecake Factory Deploys BOARD Cloud for Financial Planning

The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated has adopted the BOARD Cloud software platform from BOARD International for its financial planning and analysis (FP&A) operations. The decision followed an extensive evaluation process aimed at finding a flexible toolkit for the company's financial model designers.

The new platform will allow financial modelers to adapt solutions to specific business needs while integrating with the company's existing business intelligence (BI) deployment. A key objective was to minimize internal investments in infrastructure and support.

"We were looking for a Cloud-based platform that would minimize our internal investments in infrastructure and support, and would enable secure data integrations with our internal ERP systems and SQL based operational data," said Matt Clark, Senior Vice President of Finance and Strategy at The Cheesecake Factory.

The BOARD platform was chosen for its intuitive user interface and development capabilities, which are expected to empower the finance team to spend more time on analysis and less on planning and reporting. This shift is intended to allow business users to focus more on enhancing the guest experience.
