The Chef's Table and The Tasting Room Expand Into Winter Garden's Historic Bond Building
Award-winning restaurants The Chef's Table and The Tasting Room will relocate and expand into Winter Garden's historic Bond Building. The move includes a larger kitchen and private event spaces.
Winter Garden, Fla. – July 16, 2026 – The Chef's Table and The Tasting Room, award-winning restaurants that have operated in downtown Winter Garden for 18 years, are set to relocate and expand into the historic Bond Building at 2 and 12 West Plant Street.
The expansion will see The Tasting Room occupy 2 West Plant Street, with The Chef's Table located next door at 12 West Plant Street. Both are slated to open in mid-2027. Current operations will continue at their existing location until the transition.
The new venues are housed in the Bond Building, originally the Dillard & Boyd Building, constructed in 1912. This move signifies a significant upgrade in space, addressing long-standing needs for growth. The facilities will include a substantially larger kitchen, expanded dining areas for both establishments, and new private dining and event spaces on the second floor.
Plans also include an enlarged covered outdoor dining area. The current management team, led by General Manager Alicia Havard, will continue at the helm. The expansion is expected to create new local jobs, with hiring to commence before the opening.
