The Commission Seeks New Board Members for 2027 Term
Nonprofit certification body The Commission has opened applications for board service, targeting credentialed professionals in case and disability management.
The Commission, which provides certification for case managers and disability specialists, is accepting applications for volunteer board members. Candidates must hold a current CCM or CDMS credential to be eligible for the three-year terms commencing in July 2027.
Board members are tasked with steering the organization's strategic goals, fiduciary duties, and governance. The role involves committee and task force assignments focused on advancing the standards for case management and disability management professions. Interested candidates have until December 2, 2026, to submit their applications.
Chair-Elect Jessica Arcoraci noted that serving on the board provides professionals with opportunities to influence industry standards and participate in high-level decision-making. The organization, which oversees over 50,000 certifications, aims to fill these positions with individuals representing diverse clinical practice settings.
