The Last of Us Voice Actor Discusses Game Series' Future
Troy Baker, known as the voice of Joel in The Last of Us, has spoken about the potential future of the game series and the possibility of a new story.

Troy Baker, the actor who voiced Joel Miller in the popular The Last of Us video game series, has shared his thoughts on the future of the franchise and the prospects for a sequel.
Baker expressed his willingness to participate in any future installments, emphasizing his trust in developer Naughty Dog to cultivate new and compelling narratives within the established world.
"I've learned to trust Naughty Dog," Baker stated. "Maybe they have a completely different story waiting to be made. As for the future, I'll leave that to Neil (Druckmann) and Naughty Dog to decide. But whatever they end up releasing, I'll support it on day one, whether I'm a part of it or not."
These comments come at a time when Naughty Dog has not officially announced a third installment in The Last of Us series. While players continue to anticipate a follow-up after the success of The Last of Us Part II, the developer has remained silent on specific future game plans.
It was also recently reported that Naughty Dog has canceled its standalone multiplayer project for The Last of Us. This decision may influence the direction of future single-player entries in the series.
