The Voice Kids: Contestants Who Launched Careers After the Show

The music competition show 'The Voice Kids' is celebrating its tenth season on SAT.1. The program, focused on young singing talents, has proven to be a significant career starter, with success not necessarily tied to winning.

Mike Singer, one of the most recognizable former contestants, participated in the first season in 2013 at age 13. Despite being eliminated in the second round, he released his debut album a year later and became a social media sensation. Singer's subsequent three albums topped the German album charts. He has also appeared on "The Masked Singer" and "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" and is currently competing on "Let's Dance."

Lukas Rieger, who participated in the second season, followed a similar path. Though he exited the competition early, he cultivated a substantial following on social media. Rieger has released three studio albums and is currently the most successful German singer on TikTok with over 4 million followers.

Zoe Wees, a contestant in 2017, achieved international fame in 2020 with her hit single "Control." Her music has earned gold certifications in several European countries, and she has performed on prominent international shows.

Sister duo Mimi & Josy won the competition in 2019. Their winning track "Little Help" charted in multiple countries. They have since performed at major events and released music, including a theme song for a film.

Carlotta Truman, a participant in 2014, had previously competed on RTL's "Das Supertalent." Her journey on 'The Voice Kids' also marked a notable beginning for her musical career.
