Theben AG Standardizes Global Operations with proALPHA ERP
German electrical technology firm Theben AG has implemented the proALPHA ERP system to streamline its global operations and enhance process efficiency across all business units.

Theben AG, a family-owned company headquartered in Haigerloch, Germany, has undergone a digital transformation to optimize its global business processes. The company is now utilizing the proALPHA ERP system to centralize and manage operations ranging from procurement and production to sales and customer service.
Established in 1921, Theben is recognized for its innovations in electrical technology, offering products such as time, light, and motion controls, as well as building automation and smart home solutions. Employing approximately 800 people and reporting a turnover of €155.2 million in 2023, Theben has expanded its presence to over 60 countries.
The implementation of proALPHA ERP, in use since 2001, has reportedly increased Theben's production and delivery reliability to over 95 percent. The system facilitates the management of more than 1,200 product variants and supports the company's international expansion into markets including France, Italy, the UK, Singapore, and Australia.
Looking ahead, Theben plans to migrate its international subsidiaries to the cloud-based proALPHA solution. This strategic move aims to enhance flexibility and enable quicker adaptation to diverse regional market demands. The company launches approximately 30 new products annually, each developed with the assistance of the integrated project management module.
