Thermaltake Launches Dockpower FI Modular ATX Power Supply
Thermaltake has released its Dockpower FI series ATX power supplies, featuring a modular docking architecture, 80 Plus Gold efficiency, and a 10-year warranty.
Thermaltake, a manufacturer of computer components, has officially launched its Dockpower FI series of ATX power supplies, now available through e-commerce platforms. The series introduces a modular docking architecture, splitting the power supply into two main components: the power supply unit body and a docking module.
These components connect via server-grade gold-plated contacts, allowing for the separate replacement of either the power supply body or the docking module. Thermaltake states this design facilitates future upgrades and simplifies the PC building process. Builders can pre-install the main unit and cables, then simply dock the power supply unit, avoiding intricate cable management within the computer case.
The Dockpower FI series complies with ATX12V 3.1 and PCIe CEM 5.1 specifications. They feature a single +12V rail, DC-DC converter topology, and flat, fully modular cables. The power supplies are equipped with six major safety protections: OCP, OVP, UVP, OPP, SCP, and OTP. They measure 160mm in length and include a 135mm fluid dynamic bearing fan.
Available in multiple wattage options, the Dockpower FI series comes in black or white finishes. Pricing starts at 559 Chinese Yuan (approximately $77 USD) for the 750W model. Other variants include the 850W for 659 Yuan, 1000W for 759 Yuan, and 1200W for 859 Yuan.
