Third-Party Developer Releases VR Mod for Titanfall 2
A new mod enables virtual reality gameplay and dedicated multiplayer servers for Titanfall 2, introducing motion-controlled mechanics for the shooter.
Developer CircuitLord has released a virtual reality modification for the shooter Titanfall 2, allowing players to experience the title through PC VR headsets. The update also introduces private multiplayer servers currently available in North American and European regions.
The mod adds interactive reloading mechanics, including gesture-based inputs for specific weapons, and adapts the game’s fast-paced movement systems—such as wall-running, sliding, and grappling—to a VR environment. To maintain gameplay balance, the developers have restricted multiplayer matches to VR users only.
Installation requires a legitimate copy of the base game, a VR-capable PC, and an OpenXR-compatible headset. The mod is available for free, marking an expansion of the title's modding community years after its original release.
