The new plug provides real-time measurement of connected devices' energy usage, allowing users a more precise understanding of their electricity habits. The E3 also detects unusual consumption patterns or spikes, notifying the user via their smart home platform. This feature aids in identifying potential device malfunctions or unexpected energy surges early on.
The device includes a "pure metering mode" suitable for continuously operating appliances like refrigerators or servers.
