Thomas Hoepf Promoted to Design Director for EXP's Global Operations

Global engineering, architecture, design, and consulting firm EXP has promoted Thomas Hoepf to Senior Vice President and Design Director for global operations, the company announced. With over two decades of experience, Hoepf is a recognized leader in architecture and design, having led collaborative design on projects for public and private sector clients across various building types. These include significant transit, aviation, university, and federal facilities.

In his new capacity, Hoepf will oversee design leadership and advocacy across all sectors of EXP’s major markets. His mandate is to elevate design excellence through the integration of all disciplines on all project types. Mark Dvorak, President and COO of EXP, stated that Hoepf's talent and expertise have set a precedent for design excellence and that his promotion will extend this capability globally.

Hoepf's design leadership has been instrumental in the success of high-profile projects such as the 95th/Dan Ryan CTA Terminal Station and the CTA Washington/Wabash Elevated Station, both recipients of design awards. He also led design work on numerous federal buildings, courthouses, and airport modernization projects in the United States.

Hoepf emphasizes that architecture communicates the ideals of the people it represents and that buildings should be designed with the highest level of care and purpose. He also contributes to the development of future designers through his involvement with AIA Chicago's "Bridge" program and as an adjunct professor at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
