Three Ghanaian Startups Secure $500,000 in Funding
The Africa Ecosystem Catalysts Facility has invested $500,000 in three Ghanaian startups focused on technology and agriculture.

The Africa Ecosystem Catalysts Facility has provided $500,000 in funding to three Ghanaian startups: Built, GrowForMe, and SAYeTECH.
This investment is part of a $4 million pilot facility aimed at identifying founders often overlooked by traditional investors. The facility is managed by Village Capital with funding from the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank (FMO) and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO).
The facility's objective is to provide early-stage capital to startups in Ghana, Nigeria, and Tanzania that advance climate resilience and economic mobility. The Ghanaian companies receiving funding are Built, which helps SMEs digitize operations; GrowForMe, which connects farmers with finance and services; and SAYeTECH, a manufacturer of smart agricultural machinery.
These investments bring the facility's total deployed in Ghana to $850,000, following an earlier $350,000 investment in two other companies in May. The aim is to support enterprises that address ecosystem bottlenecks by improving access to finance, strengthening agricultural value chains, and expanding locally designed manufacturing solutions.
