Thryve.Earth Secures First Corporate Offtake Commitments for Sulawesi Restoration

Thryve.Earth has secured its initial corporate offtake commitments from members of the Symbiosis Coalition, including Google, McKinsey, and Tencent. These agreements represent a collective commitment to purchase 635,000 tonnes of carbon removal.

The carbon removal will be generated through Thryve.Earth's projects focused on restoring 6,000 hectares of land in Sulawesi, Indonesia. This marks a significant step for the company in scaling nature-based carbon removal solutions. Corporate offtake agreements are crucial for the financial viability of such environmental restoration projects.

Google, McKinsey, and Tencent are part of the Symbiosis Coalition, a group of companies aiming to accelerate the market for nature-based carbon removal.
