Thunes Launches Cross-Border Payouts Across Six New Middle East Markets

Payments company Thunes has extended its cross-border payout capabilities to six additional markets in the Middle East. The newly accessible countries are Bahrain, Lebanon, Oman, South Yemen, Syria, and the United Arab Emirates.

Through its Direct Global Network, Thunes aims to provide faster and more transparent access to funds for recipients. These payouts can be directed to bank accounts, mobile wallets, or collected as cash at designated locations.

The expansion is part of Thunes' strategy to enhance global payment infrastructure, focusing on efficiency and accessibility in emerging economies. The company seeks to reduce the time and cost associated with international money transfers.

Thunes operates a network that connects over 600 payment methods across more than 120 countries, facilitating real-time transactions.
