NASHVILLE, Tenn., July 15, 2026 – Thyme Care, a company focused on oncology care, has announced a series of leadership changes designed to scale its core business while pursuing new strategic initiatives. Co-founder Robin Shah will transition to Executive Chairman, focusing on launching new business lines, while Dr. Brad Diephuis, previously President and Chief Operating Officer, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer.

Diephuis officially takes over as CEO on September 1, 2026. In his new role, he will oversee Thyme Care's growth and value-based care model. Shah's focus as Executive Chairman will be on expanding the company's offerings in areas such as drug affordability, clinical trial access, and care alignment. Thyme Care currently manages $6 billion in oncology spend and serves 10.5 million Americans nationwide.

Marcia Macphearson has joined as Chief Operating Officer, bringing 25 years of healthcare experience. Co-founder Bobby Green, M.D., will continue as President and Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Diephuis, himself a cancer survivor, joined Thyme Care in 2022 and previously advised on value-based care models at the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (CMMI).

The company reported significant momentum in the first half of 2026, adding three new health plan partners and strengthening existing relationships. According to Thyme Care's annual Impact Report, the company achieved a 16% reduction in inpatient utilization for one Medicare Advantage client and a 10% decrease in total cost of care for another.
