Tian Gong Ultra Robot Wins 1500m Race at Humanoid Robot Competition

The Tian Zhuo team claimed first place in the 1500-meter final at the second World Humanoid Robot Games, completing the race in 2 minutes and 21.63 seconds. This time significantly surpassed the existing human world record for the 1500 meters, which stands at 3 minutes and 26.00 seconds.

Team Fei Lei Shen took the silver medal with a time of 2 minutes and 30.00 seconds. The bronze medal went to the Feng Huo Shan Dian team, finishing just 0.222 seconds behind at 2 minutes and 30.22 seconds. A total of 34 teams competed in the event.

The Tian Gong Ultra humanoid robot, used by the victorious Tian Zhuo team, was developed by the Beijing Humanoid Robot Innovation Center. Previously, Tian Gong robots had also won the 400-meter races for both large and small humanoid robots earlier in the day.

In comparison, the winning time for the 1500-meter race at the inaugural robot games last year was 6 minutes and 34.40 seconds, highlighting the rapid advancements in humanoid robot speed and capability.
