Tianjin Hospitals Expand Healthcare Cooperation with Mongolia
Tianjin Perennial Medical formed a medical delegation with three public hospitals to attend a health expo in Mongolia. The initiative aims to foster specialist collaboration and cross-border diagnosis and treatment.
Tianjin Perennial Medical, in partnership with Tianjin Hospital, Tianjin Chest Hospital, and Tianjin Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine Affiliated Hospital, formed a medical delegation to participate in the MHTE 2026 exhibition held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, from September 25-27. The delegation's participation focused on the theme 'International Diagnosis and Treatment • Tianjin Solutions — Building a Health Bridge on the China-Mongolia-Russia Economic Corridor'.
The delegation's visit emphasized direct professional interaction among physicians through scientific reports and clinical case discussions, aiming to establish specialist collaboration and facilitate cross-border diagnosis and treatment channels for Mongolian patients. Discussions also took place with entities like the Trade and Development Bank of Mongolia and the IWFCI Mongolia Chapter regarding cooperation models for group medical check-ups and follow-up specialized care.
Perennial General Hospital Tianjin is noted as China's first wholly foreign-owned, tertiary-level general hospital. It is part of the Tianjin Perennial Health City, a comprehensive development integrating medical, rehabilitation, wellness, and elderly care services. The hospital has previously treated over 500 international patients from 41 countries and regions, including a notable number from Mongolia.
