Tianma Microelectronics unveiled its second-generation "Tiangong" display on Thursday, emphasizing enhanced eye protection and display transparency. The new screen reportedly utilizes a proprietary N1 native color spectrum light-emitting material, achieving industry-leading low blue light emissions of 3.7% and boosting beneficial red light to 5.5%, a new OLED industry high.

The upgraded "Tiangong" display supports 95% of the BT.2020 color gamut and boasts a 30% longer lifespan. Tianma has also refined the TFT driver backplane, improving uniformity across millions of TFT components. This enhancement aims to ensure consistent light emission and color accuracy, particularly at lower brightness levels.

Furthermore, the display incorporates a self-developed "AI De-Mura" algorithm designed to optimize brightness and color uniformity in low-light conditions, down to 0.01 nits. Tianma announced that the OPPO Find X10 series of smartphones will be the first devices to feature this new display technology.

The OPPO Find X10 series is anticipated to launch in late September. These devices are expected to be powered by the new 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro processor and feature a significant 200-megapixel main camera. Reports also suggest extremely narrow bezels, aligning with the advanced capabilities of Tianma's new display.
