Tiber Ventures migrates to Sage Intacct to address billing and cost challenges

Tiber Ventures, a provider of streaming video services, has transitioned to Sage Intacct as its primary financial system. The company opted for the switch after determining that its previous enterprise-level solution from Oracle NetSuite was no longer aligned with its business model, which had shifted away from hardware manufacturing toward digital services.

CFO Mark Szynkowski stated that the company struggled with the high costs and rigidity of the previous system, particularly regarding manual spreadsheet-based billing processes. Working with IT consultancy RSM, Tiber Ventures implemented Sage Intacct to automate contract billing, milestones, and invoice generation, resulting in increased operational efficiency.

Beyond billing, the company has integrated a stack of best-of-breed software, including Bill.com, Ramp, and Workday Adaptive Planning. This infrastructure now supports improved cash flow visibility and provides the leadership team with access to detailed SaaS metrics and real-time reporting.
