Tieto to Launch EUR 90 Million Share Buyback Program
Tieto Corporation has decided to initiate a new share buyback program valued at up to EUR 90 million. The program is linked to proceeds from relinquished software businesses.

Tieto Corporation announced on Tuesday that its Board of Directors has resolved to commence a new share buyback program, authorizing repurchases of up to EUR 90 million.\n\nThe program is funded by proceeds from the divestment of Tieto Indtech’s Edlevo and HR&Payroll software businesses. This initiative follows an ongoing EUR 150 million buyback program announced in February 2026 and separate share repurchases for employee incentives announced earlier on Tuesday.\n\nThe stated objective of the new buyback program is to maintain an efficient capital structure consistent with Tieto's strategy. The company had previously completed the sale of the specified business units. Share repurchases are permitted to be carried out on the stock market within the prevailing market price limits.\n\nThe buyback program is scheduled to continue until the end of 2027. Tieto reserves the right to cancel the repurchased shares or hold them as treasury stock.
