Tieto Corporation's half-year report for 2026, released on July 22, indicates the company's resilience in a weakening market, driven by strong profitability. The report shows a -5% organic growth, primarily reflecting reduced demand in the consulting sector.

Despite the decline in organic growth, the company's adjusted EBITA improved significantly by 5.5 percentage points to 14.9%. This enhanced profitability was achieved across all business segments, largely attributed to a comprehensive cost optimization program.

Furthermore, Tieto is accelerating the transformation of its tech consulting services by shifting competencies and upskilling employees in artificial intelligence. The company has also completed the divestment of its Edlevo and HR & Payroll businesses.

A new share buyback program valued at EUR 90 million has been launched. The company had previously updated its full-year growth outlook on July 17 to account for the weaker market conditions observed.
