Gaming Compliance International (GCI) has appointed Tim Miller as its strategic advisor. Miller, previously the executive director of policy and research at the UK Gambling Commission, will offer independent regulatory insights into GCI's transaction monitoring and market intelligence products and services.
Miller, who recently founded GamReg Consulting, will work closely with GCI's leadership to support the company's international expansion efforts. His role will involve advising on regulatory policy, product development from a regulatory perspective, and ensuring GCI's solutions meet the evolving needs of gaming regulators worldwide.
Established in 2025, GCI provides global gaming regulators with transaction monitoring and market intelligence platforms. The company has highlighted the need for such tools, noting in 2026 that an analysis in one U.S. state identified over 2,000 active operators, the majority of which were unlicensed.
GCI CEO Matt Holt stated that Miller's expertise and reputation are crucial as GCI aims to become a preferred provider for gaming regulators. Miller commented that his experience shows regulatory tools must continually evolve, and he will help ensure GCI and its clients remain ahead of market dynamics.
