The Timbuktoo MineTech Accelerator program has opened applications for its second iteration, seeking to foster innovation in mining technology and support startups across the African continent. The application window closes on July 31.
This initiative, a collaboration between the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the timbuktoo Africa Innovation Foundation, and the National Institute for Scientific and Industrial Research (NISIR), aims to reshape the mining sector. It specifically targets youth-led startups, providing them with resources to scale transformative technologies.
Participants in the accelerator program will gain access to crucial networks, advanced technological products, and financial resources. The program's core objective is to enhance sustainability and operational efficiency within the mining industry, thereby unlocking new avenues for socio-economic development throughout Africa.
