Tin Can Expands Product Line with Rolodex and Cord Charms

Retro tech company Tin Can, known for its successful Wi-Fi-enabled children's landline phone, is broadening its product offerings. The company is launching the "Contact Keeper," a modern take on the traditional Rolodex, and "Twirly Cord Charms," accessories designed to personalize the phone's cord.

The Tin Can phone, first released in June 2025, has achieved significant popularity, selling out seven production batches. These new products aim to strengthen the company's position in the children's technology market by offering new, screen-free ways for kids to manage contacts and express themselves.

The "Contact Keeper" is designed to help children store friends' and family members' phone numbers, functioning like a classic Rolodex. Its design aims to blend nostalgic elements with a contemporary aesthetic. The "Twirly Cord Charms" allow children to customize their Tin Can phones, reflecting their creativity and personal style.

The introduction of these new items is part of Tin Can's broader ambition to reach elementary and middle school students nationwide. The company has previously invested in its supply chain and manufacturing, significantly reducing delivery times. Tin Can's primary marketing strategy has relied on word-of-mouth, as its free tier only allows calls to other Tin Can phones.
