Tiny Vinyl Introduces Miniature Record Player

NASHVILLE, TN – Startup Tiny Vinyl has introduced a small, affordable record player designed specifically for the company's 4-inch miniature vinyl records. The "Tiny Vinyl Player," priced at $49.99, will be sold exclusively through the Target retail chain beginning this month.

The player complements Tiny Vinyl's existing line of 4-inch records, which were launched last year. These initially single-song records were engineered for collectors and music enthusiasts. The development of a miniature record player emerged as a natural progression following inquiries from consumers and retailers interested in a compatible device.

The development of the Tiny Vinyl Player took approximately one year. While small cartridge components were sourced, many other parts, including the tonearm and platter, required custom manufacturing. The objective was to create a functional, visually appealing collector's item at an accessible price point.

The manufacturer acknowledges that the player is not intended for audiophiles, with sound quality described as less critical than the experience of playing and collecting. However, the device can connect to external speakers via Bluetooth. Tiny Vinyl aims to foster new ways for music fans to engage with artists and their work, emphasizing the role of merchandise and collectibles.

Founded in 2023, Tiny Vinyl has already produced over one million miniature records. Alongside the new player, the company is also releasing a miniature storage crate and a display frame for the records, targeting the segment of vinyl buyers who may not own traditional turntables.
