Tom Ashley has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of International Logistics Group (ILG) and Global Freight Solutions (GFS). This move unites the strengths of ILG and GFS, acquired by ILG in February 2024.

Tom Ashley has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of International Logistics Group (ILG) and Global Freight Solutions (GFS), effective immediately. This appointment represents a significant step in integrating the two companies.
ILG, which acquired GFS, a specialist in Enterprise Carrier Management (ECM) and delivery technology services, in February 2024, views Ashley's leadership as key to consolidating their combined capabilities. The move aims to leverage the synergies between ILG's e-commerce fulfillment services and GFS's multi-carrier delivery technology.
Ashley's appointment is accompanied by the formation of a new, unified ILG & GFS Board. This board will oversee the strategic direction of the integrated entity, focusing on enhancing services for fulfillment and delivery clients. The goal is to better position both businesses for future growth and market differentiation.
"As CEO, I’m truly excited about the opportunity to bring together the strengths of ILG and GFS," Ashley stated. "Together, we will continue to invest in our teams, our customers and the technology that powers our growth – while building on the culture and values that make both businesses special." The newly formed board includes key executive roles such as Chief Procurement Officer, Chief Information Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief People Officer, alongside two Chief Commercial Officers for Fulfillment and Delivery.
