Tomorrow.Mobility 2026 to Convene Urban Mobility Experts in Barcelona

The sixth edition of the Tomorrow.Mobility World Congress (TMWC), an event aimed at accelerating the transition to sustainable, inclusive, and smart urban mobility, will take place at Fira de Barcelona's Gran Via venue from November 3-5, 2026. The congress is expected to draw over 5,000 participants, 200 exhibitors, and 240 speakers.

Under the theme "Mobility Solutions, Concrete Impact," TMWC will explore how cities can leverage tools and strategies developed in recent years to build tomorrow's urban mobility today. Key discussion topics include Mobility Data Spaces, Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) as a driver for seamless multimodal systems, curb and parking management as strategic infrastructure, and the advent of autonomous vehicles (AV).

The congress will feature three dedicated stages addressing the design of resilient and integrated mobility systems, the implementation of next-generation public transport, urban space management during the transition to electric mobility, battery waste management, and the circular economy within electric mobility.

Confirmed speakers include Lukas Neckermann, founder of Urban Places Lab; Axel Volkery, head of the Innovation and Urban Mobility unit at the European Commission's Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport (DG MOVE); and Teresa Riesgo Alcaide, Secretary General for Innovation at the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation.

TMWC will be held concurrently with several other urban innovation events, including the Smart City Expo World Congress. Collectively, these events are expected to attract over 1,000 exhibitors and 25,000 visitors, positioning Fira de Barcelona as a global hub for urban innovation.
