Tomy Concludes Largest U.S. Showcase Yet at Anime Expo 2026

Japanese toy company Tomy Company, Ltd. (Takaratomyn) concluded its four-day showcase at Anime Expo 2026 in Los Angeles, held from July 2–5. The event is one of North America's largest anime and manga conventions, attracting tens of thousands of attendees.

Tomy featured a wide range of its products, emphasizing the Japanese concept of "asobi," which translates to playfulness and enjoyment. Highlights included the popular Beyblade X spinning tops, Licca-chan dolls, and Gacha capsule toy machines offering collectibles. The exhibit aimed to introduce Japanese play culture to a broader audience in the United States.

The showcase included over 100 different collectible items from the Gacha machines and new product variations within the Beyblade X series. Tomy also organized events and activities for fans to interact with the company's offerings. The expo served as a significant platform for Tomy to reach new consumers and strengthen its brand presence in the North American market.

Anime Expo 2026 provided Tomy with an opportunity to display the diversity and long history of its toy offerings. The company has operated for over 90 years, with its products recognized globally. According to the company, this was its largest U.S. showcase to date.
