Tongwei Solar Launches New Residential Solar Module

Tongwei Solar has launched the TNC 2.0 FULLX G12R-48, a new solar module designed for residential rooftops. The 48-cell panel offers a power output of up to 490 watts and an efficiency of 24.5%, within a compact frame measuring 1,762 × 1,134 × 30 mm.

The new module provides approximately 30 watts more power compared to conventional TOPCon modules of a similar size. Tongwei's testing suggests the TNC 2.0 FULLX G12R-48 generates an average of 3.3% more energy per watt than copper-plated back-contact (BC) modules. This performance is attributed to lower leakage current and improved low-light generation, enhancing energy capture during early morning and late afternoon hours.

The module is available in both Full Black and Black Frame options to complement various home aesthetics. It features a zero-cell-gap layout and concealed current collection for a uniform appearance. The dual-glass construction and protective sealing are designed for long-term durability in outdoor environments.

Tongwei Solar aims to make residential solar energy more practical and valuable for homeowners by maximizing installed capacity and improving overall energy generation efficiency with its new module.
