Topsort Launches T-Brain Commerce AI Model for Enterprise Decisions
Topsort has introduced T-Brain, a new Large Commerce Model (LCM) designed to enhance enterprise decision-making by understanding and applying commerce-specific AI signals.

Palo Alto, Calif. – Topsort today unveiled T-Brain, its first Large Commerce Model (LCM). This specialized AI model is built to interpret signals from product catalogs, customer queries, transactions, and shopper behavior to inform a range of commerce-related decisions.
T-Brain is designed to support various use cases, including search, retrieval, ranking, recommendations, advertising, and agentic commerce experiences. It aims to adapt to individual enterprise catalogs and customer environments, providing a unified intelligence layer for commerce systems.
The company states that T-Brain leverages intelligence gained from powering billions of commerce decisions across over 100 marketplaces. This model extends Topsort's prior work, which focused on optimizing sponsored product placements, to encompass a broader set of commercial choices.
"AI has changed the technology landscape quickly, and commerce is entering a period of significant change as well," said Regina Ye, CEO and Co-founder of Topsort. "I expect the online store to look fundamentally different in the next 12 to 18 months. As AI reshapes commerce category by category, businesses will need more than another assistant added to existing software. They will need intelligence that understands how their business works and helps their systems make better decisions. T-Brain is our foundation for building toward that future."
Early deployments with some Topsort customers have reportedly shown a 21% improvement in retrieval and a 26% increase in conversion rates on surfaces where T-Brain has been applied.
